Burts Bees
Burt’s Bees started in 1984 in Maine USA, when Roxanne Quimby and Burt Shavitz teamed up selling candles made from the beeswax created as a by-product of Burt's honey business. Burt’s Bees are committed to the environment with recycled and recyclable packaging and nature-safe manufacturing processes, and they remain committed to land preservation efforts. Burt’s Bees use only natural colours in their products. These natural colours have been proven safe, unlike many artificial colours that have been banned over the years. As far as fragrance components go, Burt’s Bees use them only when absolutely necessary. The objective always is to deliver products that are healthy and good to use, and kind to the environment.
